This short course covers the basic principles of Ayurveda. Fundamental knowledge of Ayurveda is important for every human being as it will help them to discover themselves as well as leads to healthy and happy life. This foundation course is good for beginner. It has a balanced proportion of theory and practical. The theory session includes the basics of Ayurveda, Panchmahabhuta (Five Elements), Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), Dhatus (Seven Tissues), Malas (Waste Products) and Agni (Digestive Fire). Practical session includes various Ayurvedic massage & therapies like Face massage, Head massage, Shirodhara, Ela khizhi, Podi khizhi etc

  • Concept of Tri-dosha (Vata, pitta & kapha).
  • Relation between Dosha, season and Taste
  • State of Tri-dosha
  • Concept of Prakriti (Body Types)
  • Concept of Sapta Dhatus (seven tissues)
  • Relation between Dosha, season and Taste
  • State of Tri-dosha
  • Concept of Prakriti (Body Types)
  • Concept of Sapta Dhatus (seven tissues)
  • Concept of Malas (waste material)
  • Digestive fire (Agni)
