About SAT EXAM
The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized college admission exam used by many colleges and universities in the United States and some other countries to assess a student's readiness for college. It is designed to measure key academic skills, such as reading, writing, and mathematical reasoning.
The SAT is scored on a scale of 400 to 1600. The total score is the sum of your scores from the Math section (200–800 points) and the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section (200–800 points). The Essay, if taken, is scored separately on three dimensions: Reading, Analysis, and Writing. Each dimension is scored from 2 to 8. The SAT is administered multiple times a year, typically in the fall, winter, and spring. The test dates are set by the College Board, the organization that administers the SAT. You can register for the SAT on their official website.
While many colleges and universities in the U.S. consider SAT scores as part of their admission process, some schools have become test-optional or even test-blind, meaning that submitting SAT scores is not required or will not be considered. However, for most schools, a strong SAT score can still play a key role in admissions and scholarship opportunities.
